The movement of 22 beneficiaries to Ayikumah

After a successful opening ceremony to bless the new buildings in July, the first phase of movement of our beloved beneficiaries took place in September, 2015.

On Saturday, 5th of September 2015, 22 beneficiaries including 6 females and 16 males moved to the WEM Centre at Ayikuma.

After 1 hour 20 minutes in a trotro, the kids and staff arrived at WEM. They were very excited and full of anticipation to move into their new home. The beneficiaries couldn't wait to get into their new dormitories.

The female dormitory consists 4 rooms. Two (2) rooms are for our beloved female beneficiaries and the other 2 are for staff. There are 2 bathrooms and an office space. Adjacent is a detached open space which serves as a prep hall and a gathering point.

The male dormitory also has 4 Rooms for our beneficiaries and a room for staff, bathrooms, a kitchen and dining room as well as a store room.

In WEM, the children have a lot of space to play around unlike FCP. On the roofed terrace they can do their preparation for the next school day and they have their own football pitch. So the rest of the day, they were playing football and enjoying their new home.
