On his canonical visit of Catholic Churches and projects, the Archbishop of Accra was at Rays of Hope Centre's new Centre in Ayikuma. The ROHC family was delighted to have him around, on February 6th, 2016.
The Archbishop together with Fr Matthew of Dodowa St Agnes Catholic Church, were welcomed to WEM Centre amidst a cultural display and ROHC’s theme song performed by our beneficiaries.
The MD of ROHC introduced the Archbishop to his staff members, whereas a beneficiary, Saviour Akakpo of JHS 1 introduced the 27 beneficiaries present and their class levels to the Archbishop.
Most Rev Charles Palmer-Buckle admonished the beneficiaries on the fact that, they are the best to help and support themselves in their own development. He said ROHC, as a catholic project, will provide the framework through which they will realise their dreams and aspirations.
To acquaint himself with the new Centre, he went for a survey around the male (Fr Konrad WEM) and female (FR Bernd WEM) dormitories.
On Sunday, 7th February, all the out station under Dodowa were present to have a thanksgiving mass held with the Archbishop. The ROHC family was present for this special mass, were all beneficiaries presented fruits to the Archbishop.
What a wonderful and memorable day it was for Rays of Hope Centre.
